Palapye Baptist Church One Year Anniversary

The celebration of the church’s one year anniversary began with a week of prayer. The church met everyday to pray for our families, village, country, church, and ourselves. It was a wonderful time of worship and fellowship.
Brother Tabo has no idea how to play the guitar but likes to hold it and look at it. His daughter is also mesmerized. The following Sunday we had a baptismal service. Many people were baptized and it was extra special because we were able to do the baptisms at the church. Our brother Tabo made a baptistery out of cement so the ceremony could take place at the church.
Finally to finish out the celebration there was showing of the Jesus Film in the Church plot. It was done at night with a sheet hanging over the side of the church building and a projector showing the film. The church started one year ago this very same way. There was a showing of the Jesus Film and several prayer meetings after. Many people came to the film and so this upcoming Sunday the church will be showing the Left Behind Series. One every Sunday so that hopefully more people will come and hear God’s word.
