4th of July

For the 4^th of July we had the awesome privilege of being invited to an Embassy party. It was neat being around other Americans and having a cookout it almost felt like home. The food was overpriced and they even had cake walks just like home. We also had beautiful weather despite it being cold all week. While we were down in Gaborone we also got to go see “Bye Bye Birdie” which was pretty funny especially when they tried to do a Spanish dance. The production of the “The Number One Detective Agency,” has begun and it is being filmed here in Botswana! Unfortunately the led actress is an American but they are bringing in jobs for people here which is great. It should be coming out at the end of the year! So read the books if you have not so you will be ready for the movie.

Pray for the team from Providence as they will be arriving the 13^th of July and working until the 22^nd.
