Results From the Test

The results from the biopsies taken during the colonoscopy showed colitis. Colitis is inflammation of the large intestine. The treatment is a probiotic which should help with the symptoms I have. I will take this until I get to the US and then see how things are going from there. I am also going to wait on treating my cyst until I get to the US. Praise God! He has given the doctors wisdom and now I have some answers. Please continue to pray that I will feel better and that my cyst will not burst as I am trying to pack and say goodbye to those in Palapye. Thanks for all of your support!

Update

After my appointment this morning with the gynecologist the doctor found a cyst the size of a golf ball on my right ovary. Treatment is still being decided due to the other symptoms and problems I have been having. Tomorrow, Tuesday, August 14 I will be undergoing a colonoscopy. They will be looking for anything that may be causing my gastrointestinal problems. Please pray for me tomorrow. Thanks

Two years ago on the 12th of August I arrived here in Africa having no idea what I was getting into. As my time dwindles down I look back on my time here and see what God has done and how He has changed me. It has been an amazing experience and I can’t wait to do mission work for a career!

Attack of the E Coli

So I came to Johannesburg on Saturday due to some pain and two tests confirming that the E Coli had returned. I am going to be going to some specialist here and hopefully will get this problem taken care of. Please pray for me as I will be away from the people I know and love.
